Santa Cruz to Llanganuco Trek (adventurous trek). This is one of the best treks in South America. The trip offers spectacular vistas and short-sleeve hiking through the villages and valleys of the Andes. We pass below Alpamayo (19,511 ft.), "the most beautiful mountain in the world," and the gigantic Huascaran (22,205 ft.), as well as a slew of other stunning peaks.

Cordillera Huayhuash Circuit Trek (advanced trek): This trek circles the entire range and passes a chain of trout filled lakes and jagged, towering peaks. The trek takes place between 2700 meters and 5000 meters and crosses many high passes. It is an extremely spectacular and remote trek and requires excellent physical fitness and an adventurous attitude.
